Jim Moss, Managing Director and Founder

Has more than 30 years of both consulting and corporate human resources experience. He is one of the nation’s leading experts in human resources and executive compensation within not-for-profit organizations.

In addition to not-for-profits and the public sector, his market sector experience includes publicly-traded and privately-held corporations in financial services, research and engineering, retail, technology products and services and utilities.

Prior to founding PRM, Jim was a Principal and Rewards Practice Leader in Towers Perrin’s Washington Consulting Office. Before that, he held human resources and compensation positions with RCA Corporation and Random House, Inc.

Jim has been a guest lecturer on human resources management in the graduate schools of American University and Johns Hopkins University. He has written and published articles on compensating not-for-profit executives and co-authored a human resources textbook for the American Society of Association Executives. Additionally, he is often quoted on executive compensation in such publications as the National Journal.

He holds a BA in philosophy from Morehouse College and pursued graduate studies at New York University. During his career, Jim has received recognition from both business and civic institutions. World At Work recognized him with its Lifetime Achievement Award , and the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education awarded him its Presidential Citation.

Greg Davis, Principal

Specializes in change management and strategic planning. He has over 21 years of general management experience with both public and private sector organizations.

He conducted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) 12,500-employee survey feedback action initiative. Greg has worked with numerous clients to design organizational learning strategies and programs. Also, he has worked with the United States Chamber of Commerce to lead major strategic planning change engagements for top level executives and government leaders in Mongolia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Maui, Cyprus, Haiti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Bulgaria, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Prior to consulting, Mr. Davis worked with the Eli Lilly Corporation, Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., Reuben Donnelly Corporation, Bell Atlantic Corporation and The Equitable Corporation.

He holds a BS from Howard University in Washington, DC and pursued post-graduate work in business at the George Washington University School of Business and Carnegie Mellon—SEI Institute. He is a member of the Board of the DC Lottery, Trustee for the Mountain Institute.

Ronald Huling, Principal

Ron Huling, Principal

Has over 30 years of employee benefit consulting experience and has assisted some of the nation's largest employers with timely subjects including benefit plan strategic alignment, cost management, compliance and vendor management.

His consulting experience spans the full range of for-profit, not-for-profit, public and private sector employers. He is a thought leader, having developed the first two flexible benefit plans in the mid-Atlantic region and participated in implementing the first area point-of-service medical plan. Over the years, his flexible benefit clients have included Ameritas Acacia, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Maryland Casualty Company, USF&G Insurance, The Rouse Company, University of Virginia Medical Center and Virginia Power. He has held prominent positions with several of the industry's leading consulting firms, including Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin. He has served as an Account/Relationship Manager with responsibility for leading global employers and has been the southeast regional health and welfare benefit practice leader for another firm. Earlier in his career, he started and built the Washington health and welfare practice for one of the industry's more prominent firms.

He was a charter recipient of the Employers Council of Flexible Compensation's Certified Flexible Compensation Instructor professional designation, a member of the National Association of Manufacturers' employee health care subcommittee, and a Chartered Life Underwriter. He has a BS in Economics (Insurance major) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA (Accounting Control) from Drexel University.

Greg Perkins, Principal

Specializing in human resource management, training, and change management. He has over 18 years experience as a consultant and human resource practitioner implementing strategies to build organization capacity.

His past consulting assignments included managing large-scale human resource interventions for the public and private sectors. Prior to joining PRM, Greg held leadership and professional roles within the consulting, not-for-profit, public, and private sectors. Most recently, he was Director, Human Capital Consulting Services for Pearson Government Solutions. Prior to his appointment at Pearson, he was the National Vice President, Human Resources for the American Diabetes Association and the Manager of Employment and Career Development at AARP. He began his career as an Employee Development Specialist for the Naval Medical Command/Southwest Region.

He holds a BA in psychology and is a Master's Candidate at Lincoln University. Along with his education, he has been published in several professional journals and most recently authored an article for the Homeland Defense Journal.

Dan Ripberger, Principal

Has 15 years experience assisting Boards of Directors and management with their organizations’ compensation needs. He maintains specific expertise in executive, employee and sales compensation and performance management.

His market sector experience includes financial services, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, research & development, technology services and products, not-for-profits well as others. Prior to joining PRM, Dan was an officer in the compensation consulting practice of Aon Consulting. He also gained consulting experience at Towers Perrin and in management roles within corporate settings.

He holds a BSBA in economics/human resources from Xavier University and has taken graduate courses in economics at Old Dominion University and the University of Cincinnati.
